Each year, the White House hosts
a number of activities at Easter. One of these is a display
of decorated eggs from each of the fifty states and the District of Columbia. In 2007, my egg was chosen to represent the state of Texas. In 2009, the State Capitol Gift Shop in Austin contracted with me to carry this design in their store.

Side one features the outline of Texas filled with a bouquet of bluebonnets. A spiralling Texas flag connects the state silhouette motif around the side to the Great Seal of Texas, with its olive and live oak branches.
A circular design with triangular rays surrounds the medallions, separating them from the blue marbled background. |
